Agree 100% . GAGA is the raining princess of pop and she is more talented and sucessful too. She has acomplish so much in 1 year that Britney have
not been able to acomplish in 10plus year. It took Britney 10 year just to get another #1 mainly because of itunes. The britard know this which is

Lady Gaga is an innovator in the way she presents her image and persona. Her music, however, is far from being innovative. Even critics who sing
Gaga's praises concede her music at this point is mostly middle-of-the-road dance pop that borrows heavily from acts like Britney, Justin, The BEPs,
Fergie, Beyonce, Christina (yup) and European dance trends.
As for Britney emulating Gaga's style...'Blackout' predates Gaga and was (with Justin's 'FS/LS') one of the first mainstream seeds planted of
this current 'techno/dance/pop craze'...beyond that, the 'craze' had been building in the US for a good 5 years before Gaga officially hit the
scene. That's not exactly being a leader is it? Sticking with her original sound - Fiona Apple-esque piano driving pop rock - would've been a much

The Gaga press certainly was the straw the broke the camel's back...., but it was Christina's own instincts and poor choices over 6-8 years. There
was talk of her canceling her 2004 tour because or horrible ticket sales so it's safe to say that Christina's star has been steadily falling since
the end of 2003.
Britney hasn't been the #1 girl since Avril (who?..right). After that, it was Ashanti briefly, then Beyonce, now Gaga.
Britney still scores #1 hits, can still break 500k first week sales and can manage a $100+ million grossing tour...all without being the #1 chick for
8 years now. Michael and Madonna were #1 in the industry for relatively short amounts of time yet are STILL major draws.
Gaga's time at #1 is not infinite so I wouldn't use this as a point of debate...it ain't the strongest.

Pfft...Britney can still dance very well...but she's not at her personal best. There's a difference.
If Gaga has as tough of a first decade in the business as Britney has had...I can only hope that she has half the resilience and hard work that

Gaga has a team just like Britney has a team. BOTH are manufactured pop products...but it's more important for Gaga's current image if it looks like
she is the sole creative force behind her image. There is a reason this is focused on for her just like there is a reason Britney's 'sexiness' is
always focused on...the people behind these artists pump up their percieved 'selling points' and it's used in all media related materials.
And people who have worked with Britney have stated for over ten years now that Britney is very much a creative force behind her brand. If you are in
the corporate music system like Gaga and Britney you can be considered a 'puppet' because you never 100% own your own image or career...there is
always a give and take between artist and label and that's true for everyone.

There are just as many people who state that Gaga is nothing more than a label's creation who uses previous peoples work / art and weaves it into her
persona. They'll also claim that she's being counted on to 'save the industry' so it's in many music-related business' interests to make sure
her initial burst of success lasts as long as possible before the inevitable backlash.
AKA people thinks she's as much of a puppet / tool for the industry as Britney supposedly is. Is it true? There may be some truth in there but

Britney CAN sing live, she just chooses not to. Britney still dances better than Gaga and she doesn't even have to attempt to do so. The techno/dance
crave was brought forth by Britney in 2003 with 'Toxic' you moron. You know...that song that EVERYONE in the world knows of? The one that influenced
Madonna's COADF, which in turn influenced Justin's FS/LS and so on and so forth. Even Gaga said she was inspired by the one and only Britney Spears.
Gaga's image is completely fake. It's not that of her actual self, but of totally random bullshit that she knows will garner attention. Her lyrics
are awful and she doesn't produce those amazing beats, you know...that part of the song that actual gets it to the top of the charts, RedOne and
