Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is popping up left and right in the Britney world these days.
Lohan, who recently spent time behind bars for allegedly violating her terms set by an L.A. judge, is looking to Britney's team to get her life and career back on track, and if anyone can control a celebrity, it's them!
Britney's former publicist/spokesperson, Lou M. Taylor of Tri Star Sports & Entertainment in Tennessee, is working with Lindsay Lohan since her jail sentence, according to X17online.com.
Taylor's company website lists "business management, tax and accounting services, and financial and estate planning as their specialties."
Says the website: quote:
"In an industry where each part of your life becomes a challenge to execute wisdom and discern the factors of each aspect of your career, Tri Star provides 'life managers' to come along side of you and your families and encourage you in your life, career and business planning."
Life Managers is a nice way of saying Life Controllers. Then again, life was left up to Lindsay up until now and look where it got her!
A source tells X17 Lou Taylor was brought in to Britney's life around 2008 to map out Britney's career and assets. She successfully brainwashed dad Jamie Spears to enforce a conservatorship over Britney, but originally wanted manager Larry Rudolph, who was "by Lou's side throughout the execution" of Britney's conservatorship.
The source tells X17online.com exclusively: quote:
"Lou totally brainwashed Jamie. She convinced him a conservatorship was the only way to go and of course he went along with it when he heard about the financial control it would give him. But Lou didn't have Jamie in mind as the conservator at the beginning. She considered suggesting Larry Rudolph but she was afraid he would abuse the power. With Jamie, Lou thought she would have someone who was naive enough that she could continue to influence him and, therefore, continue to have a direct influence on Britney's life and career for years to come."
Lou Taylor has a similar plan for Lindsay says the source:quote:
"Lou has suggested to Dina [Lohan] that they seek conservatorship over Lindsay's estate. Of course Lindsay doesn't really have any assets to speak of so it would really be for the sole purpose of controlling her future earnings. The problem is, neither Dina nor Michael would ever be granted a conservatorship by a judge so Lou went searching for someone else to fill that role -- someone with whom she could partner in a business sense, someone she trusts. This time she thinks Larry Rudolph may be the answer. Lou now realizes choosing Brit's dad as conservator may not have been the best idea. He got power hungry and decided he didn't need Lou anymore. So this time, Lou thinks Larry might be willing to work her way on this and be a figurehead in Lindsay's career while Lou works behind-the-scenes."
Taylor or Lohan's camp neither confirmed nor denied these claims. Of course.
Even recently, Lindsay's been spotted with Britney's manager Adam Leber at a "business meeting" in Beverly Hills, photographed by GSI Media, the same photo company that shoots Kevin Federline's publicity stunts with his kids.
Sounds like a photo-op for Leber if you ask me!
And if that's not enough drama for you, Lohan told Vanity Fair in a recent interview she (sort of) blames Britney for her downward spiral, saying: quote:
"I would look up to those girls… the Britneys and whatever. And I would be like, I want to be like that," she said. "I had a lot of responsibility; and I think just the second I didn't have [structure] anymore - I was 18, 19 - with a ton of money and no one really here to tell me that I couldn't do certain things… And I see where that’s gotten me now, and I don’t like it."
In the words of Britney: "Omg is Like Lindsay Lohan Like Okay Like?"
