Casey Aldridge Released From ICU, Jamie Lynn Doing Well - Updated

Casey Aldridge, Jamie Lynn's fiance and father to their daughter Maddie, has been released from intensive care at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi after suffering a head injury from a car accident last Sunday.

"He came out of ICU," a source tells People.com, adding that "doctors are hopeful they'll soon be able to discharge Aldridge."

Aldridge, 20, was up "walking around twice [on Tuesday]," says a source close to the family. "He was a little wobbly because that's the first time he's been up since the wreck."

Jamie Lynn has reportedly been handling the incident well

"I've been very proud of her," said a Spears friend. "I'm really impressed."

Aldridge was hospitalized after crashing his F-250 truck on the driver's side on a 2-lane road in Louisiana around 1:30 a.m. Sunday after leaving a bachelor's party for Aldridge's cousin at nearby Lake Bruin on Saturday, according to a source.

“Casey got home today, and he’s doing really well," a source tells People.com. "He’ll have to have some rest for the next few weeks. He’s still got a headache, but everything looks good,” says a source.

“They're both at the house in Liberty (Miss.),” the source adds.
